This is the Australian pelican, featured in 2 of my earlier submissions to TN. Someone said they would like to see the bird in its entirety, so here you are.
For an amusing poem about these remarkable birds, please go back to my other pics.

Beautiful capture, John. These pelicans are so mesmerizing with those eyes and gorgeous colors. You did very nicely here with the pose and composition...a terrific shot of this beautiful creature!

Hi John,
Excellent full body shot on this pelican, I like the frame filling composition. The exposure looks great in this soft light. Colors are beautiful, and detail is outstanding. A great shot!

Un très bon portait de cet oiseau, les couleurs sont justes et la netteté estexcellente.

Félicitations et merci pour l'envoie.
Joseph.

An exceptional shot of this pelican, John.

Details, colors, pose, BG and low light exposure are wonderful.

Great job, thank you for sharing this fine image with us!

Hi John,
Great shot. Love the detail of the feathers you have retained through corect exposure. I'd probably be tempted to run a light vignette around the edges of the frame to centre attention and remove some of the distraction on the water surface.
Thanks
Paul
