This may be the best "paired" inflight I've ever seen. I made a few attempts at this when I saw it, but no luck. They seem to hover more and present a slightly easier target when paired..

A very stunning capture it is well seen and intresting that she leaves all the flying to him. superb detail and OOF BG to make them stand out.
The only thing need is a note explaining how you achived the shot, as I suspect many off us here would love to try such a capture for them selves.

Oh my! How lucky were you to get this shot?! I've tried flying hoverflies and they are extremely difficult!
An amazing result! Virtually perfect DOF. Shame we couldn't freeze the wings but I suppose that would be impossible without compromising the DOF.
