Very good photo of a Pieridae!

But I think it's not a Pieris napi (Linnaeus, 1758), but a Pieris brassicae (Linnaeus, 1758), known as Large White in eglish.
This specie is the common cabage butterfly, the world most wide spread specie.

Great shot Chi but I'm mafraid its just a plain old cabbage white (Pieris rapae) based on Butterflies of Australia by Braby. Another useful guide for Sydney is the Butterflies of Sydney area at http://www.usyd.edu.au/macleay/larvae/sydbuts.html.
Good composition and exposure and your usual high standard of sharpness.
