Jellyfish

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This was taken at the Melbourne Aquarium. There is a vast array of sharks, exotic fish, turtles, rays, etc and a good collection of jellyfish. This is one of the beautiful jellyfish that I saw. It looked so elegant with its tentacles swaying to and fro in the water. |

Hi Claudia
Very nice jelly you've captured here.
The composition & POV is fine and the colours are quite nice. The sharpness does provide some nit though. I think it is possibly as a result of the slow shutter speed so there might have been some movement by the jelly itself. The tentacles and the frilly part (don't know what you call it) seems to be well in focus, but the body of the jellyfish just lack that bit of crispness needed to make it an excellent shot.
I also pick up some unexpected stripes and markings on the blue BG which I'm not sure if it could be PP leaving some trails. This can be seen especially in the top right hand corner. Maybe it is from the glass or maybe even from the aquarium background.
Anyway, good effort and TFS.
Regards

Hello Claudia, interesting shot. I like the composition with the sweepign lines on the tentacles. It certainly has a lot of contrast against the blue BG. I feel it could be a little sharper...if that's possible with a jellyfish! I also think that removal of some shadows would benefit this image. I've done a WS for this. Well done.
