[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Eastern Water Dragon was very tame and I was able to get extremely close. I managed to get several nice shots. I really liked the detail around the eye. This male was about 2 feet long and was not afraid one bit. Usually they run but this one didn't even move at all, not even with the flash. Maybe I stunned him.

Hi Matt,
I love shots like this, really tight compositions that are almost abstract. a really nice shot, excellent detail throughout and great composition with the colours running away from the eye to the corner of the frame. I'd worry about a Dragon this size not running away :-)

Took a look at some of your images and this one caught my attention.This is something a bit different and I like it a lot.What a good idea to focus on its eye rather than a total body image.Good composition to include what looks like a nostril.Lovely texture and detail...well done.
