Chi,
very well mastered extremely strong backlight, showing a scenery that looks as if taken from a dream. The slightly visible mirroring of the wading bird seems to open up other dimensions. Thank you!

nice shot! you've captured this stilt well - i really love the warm colours here, and the misty backlit lighting. i think if i'd taken this, i'd have been looking at a horizontal composition, and tried to remove the shoreline - as it stands, since the bird is slightly in the mist the eye is drawn to the shoreline first, which is a shame since it isn't the main subject here... anyway, despite that minor suggestion, i really like this one :-D

excellent shot - I reallyt like tye fact that I can see more detail in the reflection than I can in the bird and the colours are wonderful.

Hi Chi,
Excellent shot on this Black-winged Stilt. The back lighting works well to silhouette the bird, but even more detail is shown in it's reflection. Nice steamy mist coming of the water adds greatly to the shot.

Nice image. A little bit underexposed on main subject, but the silouette effect looks great. Overall exposure is good. Focus is good. Not a descriptive image of the bird, but a nice warm backlit image to use as a decor element. TFS.

Something very strange has happened here. I have critiqued this photo 2 days ago and suddenly today I noticed my numbers did not correspond with TN. Upon investigation I found my critique for this photo has disappeared (???). So, I am trying again which means you are getting two smileys for this one from me (chuckle).
You really pushed the shutter speed for this foggy silhouette effect and succeeded very well. I like the reflection in the water, the composition, POF, and the stunning colours. The exposure was brilliantly handled.

Hi Chi, This is a superb shot. It caught my attention cos of the light and then I looked closer and saw that lovely reflection too. The mist gives a surreal feel to it. A very artistic shot, painting with light :)
