[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I captured this image while visiting the "Mogo Zoo" on the NSW south coast. The Mogo Zoo is committed to the survival of endangered animals and provide world standard facilities for over 100 animals of more than 35 rare and exotic species. This Iguana is endangered due to feral animals such as pigs, goats and cats. There is an estimated 10,000 remaining in the wild. This fellow's diet consists of green leaves of the hibiscus plant, similar fruit flowers and insects. He and his buddies are found in the large Fijian Islands.
I have cropped the image and made minor adjustments to the brightness and contrast only, using "Photoshop Elements".

Nice opening photo Steve
I like colours and pose of this nice animal.
Its a pity that you "cut" his fingers. I think also that it would be good to leave a bit of free space on the left side of the photo, the right side is out of focus anyway so it wouldn't be big loss if you croped it.
Anyway, your photo is good and I like it.
Welcome to TN :-)

Good shot steve, nice bright colours. good to see you've added some notes too. thanks for posting. welcome to TN

Good shot, a pity that you've cut the hand.
TFS.

Very nice first post Steve.
IMO little more space infront of the nose and it's little soft, try to add some USM so sharp it. About 0.3 pixels and 250% amount in Photoshop elements.
Very good POV , colours and details. Good notes too.
Well done.
Welcome to TN.

Steve, Nice pose with good details. Thanx for the info. on this one! Welcome to TN & thanx for sharing!!

great photo keep up the hard work

Beautiful animal and shot to begin with.
I would personally crop a bit on the back, and give some more space at the front. Also is we saw the whole hand the effect would be stronger. Hope to see more photos and critiques soon. Welcome to TN.

Hi Steve, great shot with very nice colours. I have to say that thisis not a Fijian Banded Iguana - it's a Green Iguana (Iguana iguana). your can see the Fijian Banded Iguana by clicking the link.

This is a very good shot, Steve. Superb details in a very good close framing. Seems your best focus is the fore part and the left side. Increasing your ISO value would have enabled a higher f/value and a bit more DOF, but all together, it's a very illustration of this amazing critter.
