Not another tiger!

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I don't have any information on the Bengal Tiger, but I do know that they are an incredible animal. I was fortunate after many pics taken, to get this image. While trying to trap him in my viewfinder at the right time and at an acceptable kind of pose I actually came within 1.5metres of him, eye to eye. At that close proximity, his eyes were so mysterious and seemed to look right through me.
I have made minor corrections to the colour and brightness/contrast, and I think I am getting the hang of that USM filter thingy. Please let me know what you think. I use Photoshop Elements for my tidying up. |

Hi Steve, nice portrait.
I like the pose of the tiger. Good colours, POV and details.
But I don't like the dark parts above his head, it's little disturbing, othewise a very nice picture.
Well done.

Hello Steve, it's a pretty good portrait and the photo looks sharp. However, there are some 'milky' areas around the top and bottom - do you know where these are from?
Nice shot overall and it's very easy to find lots of information on Bengal Tigers by searching the internet.

Hi Steve, and a belated welcome on TN, But then I am always in arrears with posts, comments etc.
This is a nice mug=shot of this guy, good texture in the fur and the eyes a re good.
As a small nit, look at the colour on top of the head, it looks a bit strange. Also, Rotate 180º so that he looks to the left, and add a bit of space before his nose, and see how the impact will improve.
Great close-up Steve. Can almost feel his breath. Good work. Keep 'em coming!
