Excellent shot of this butterfly.
The POV used let us appreciate the pattern of the wings with that yellow spots on it.
The background adds somethig extra to the photo, with that particular color which makes a vibrant contrast.
Well balanced, nice composition, I like the frame used also.

Hi Chris,
wonderful capture of this butterfly. Great PoV and DoF to highlight the details of the insect. The soft, brown background contrasts beautifully against both the plant's green and the butterfly's yellow. I wish the composition was slightly different though because I have the feeling that the butterfly is goint to leave the frame any moment now :-)

This is a beaut! Again a species new to me.
Sharp, well presented and with an interestingly coloured BG. The diagonal composition of the twig in one direction and the b-fly in the other is very effective.

Hello Chris,
a well focused and sarp picture of this little beauty. By the point of view, you artfully suppressed the broken right forewing which is not noticed at first glance. Composition and colours are pretty good.

Another very beautiful macro from you!
This butterfly is gorgeous and i love the big light spots on his wings - they make a great contrast with the general color of the wings.
Also teh POV is very nice, the DOF is great ans the sharpness very good.
Nicly framed and composed.

Nice picture of this little butterfly which will use his colors for camouflage, I'm pretty sure... It is the first time I saw a butterfly of this family: Lycaenidae! Thank you very much for sharing that picture with us...
