[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The bungarra is a goanna or Monitor Lizard, growing to almost 5' from nose to tail. This one was caught sunning itself whilst in the process of shedding an old skin: shot taken with Canon EOS100 SLR, in the Cape Range National Park of Western Australia, transparency scanned to Kodak Photo CD, some PS processing to increase contrast & sharpness.

nice painted skin

G'day Jeff
They certainely have beautifull markings. Nice composure and POV. Where you able to take a shot from the other side! This perhaps would of shown more detail of its camouflage.
