Hello Ivan,
I like the spare but distinctive colours here. Nice to see the dragonfly and its shadow: wings and wing shadows on the rock surprisingly have identical colours. The bright sunlight (?) is well managed.
Best wishes, Peter

Hi Ivan,
amazing species. I am totaly unknown to the Australian nature, but this seems like a large damselfly.
Well displayes. Mayby the rock could be burned a little to focus on the damselfly.

Hello Ivan,
Nice shot with shadow that I almost mistaken as a double. Well light control with so sign of overexposure. Vivid color and great sharpness. Very well done and tfs this fine picture.

Hi Ivan,
Great capture, with nice colors, harsh lighting was handled well to end up with the great shadows which are almost confussing. Thanks for sharing Ivan.

I am intrigued by the shadows the insect and particularly its wings cast on the rock, Ivan. This is an interesting phenomenon you have seen and captured well here.

Hi Ivan,
The combination of the damsel fly and its shadows below is very attractive. An illusion has been created and it is difficult to tell what is real and what is a shadow.Lovely natural blue of its body caught in the strong light and excellent detail and clarity.Good stuff....TFS.

Hi Ivan
Another exotic beauty from you!
This is really a superb damselfly!
I also saw this species (i think) at some of Chris Chafer's posts, but this one sure looks great!
The details, colors and contrast are all splendid!
I like the shadow on the rock, too.
Very good exposure and interesting composition.
Bravo and TFS

Hello Ivan!
Very interesting species, I have never seen it before. By the way, does it belong to family Calopterygidae???
According to the technical aspects I think that better DOF would be nice :)
Best greetings,
Radomir
Excellent shot Ivan,
"Damsel on the Rocks"..Very fitting title considering its common name is "Rockmaster".
Nice sharp detail and well exposed with good color.
Lets see..So this damselfly is on the "rocks" and is called a "Rockmaster", and was shot at "Granite Gorge". Now that's a rocky road..and I don't mean ice cream ;-}}
Nice work mf.

Good shot of this Tropical Rockmaster Ivan. You did quite well the adults I saw in Mossman Gorge were really hard to get near.
Good composition and sharpness.
