Hi Tony,
A fabulous shot of this oooollld Fig tree. The roots looks amazing with all those shapes and sizes and it has branched out in a big way. I have seen quite a few of them too in this part of the world but they are primarily banyan trees. Excellent POV to capture this scene and very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Hello Tony,
This is an amazing plant! I have never before seen a tree that is so much 'alive'! Look at it carefully. Can you see the eyes, the hands, the arms and the face! This tree has real presence! You have composed and presented it well.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Tony,
What an interesting post. I bet this is a first for TN. Outstanding low POV to show the amazing roots and branches of this tree. It is interesting to see how much the roots look like a reflection of the branches. The first thing I thought about when I saw the photo is, wonder how old this tree is. I see you had same thought. To have roots like that it must be hundreds of years old.
Best Regards,
Ken

It is a very captivating tree, isn't it? And it is even much bigger than what it looks here in your photo too Tony. It isn't easy to photograph it because it is so big - so well done,
Janice

Hey Tony, very nice shot of this Fig Tree. These things are so huge they are tough to shoot. Looks like they've given it a lot of room at the Auckland Domain. Very nicely done.

Thanks, John
