Hi Tony,
I saw in NGC that meerkats live in deserts digging is their main activity. How come they are living in a zoo. Do they have provision for them to carry out meerkat's daily activities. Anyway a beautiful capture and very nice details too. They are the most successful insect killers. Thanks a lot for sharing.

A funny fellow!
Judgede by all the photographs I have seen these guys display all sorts of funny behaviour, but this is maybe the first time I see one sitting like a human would do, except for the tail!
Good details in the fur coat...

These meerkats are strange characters. Nice shot of him sitting in the sun Tony. A pity about the tail being cropped off though.

I think I am going to do the same this weekend. The first weekend with sun in a long time.
The pose is really funny. One I would not have expect to see form this animal. I love the golden color of its furr and the wonderful details you managed to capture. It looks like he gave you a wonderful smile.
