[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Feeding time at the Auckland Zoo. The keepers place many small pieces of food around her compound. In barrels, under boxes, in boxes in trees, and make her hunt for it. She knows the big catch is awaiting her at the top of the tall tree, but she 'plays the game' and hunts down all the smaller pieces first, but she keeps eyeing the large catch as she wanders around. Once she has eaten the smaller piececs it is time for the big reward! She was fantastic to watch as she climbed the tree, but even better was watching her come back down.

Good composition Pam. The colors are a bit dull, maybe soft on the back, but the head has excellent detail. I would have loved to see this happen!

Pam, Great action shot presented well in this vertical frame. Good detail & life-like color! Enjoyed your personalized note on the shooting circumstances also. Hey, I wish my waistline looked so good! ;-)) But my "keeper" would have to cut me down to one meal a day! :-((

I'm glad that is not my rump in his mouth, I'm scared of heights and that tree seems high.

The sharpness is great and the DOF is excellent.

Thanks for posting

A very loooong shot here, and that's what I like !

Hi Pam
VERY nice, good colours too. like the portrait format here. I would crop a bit on the left, to place her slightly off centre, it always improves the compo. Try mirroring the picture too. See the affect for yourself.

Very strange this shot.
Well done !

Ciao Hai delle bellisime foto, ho scelto questa che ha un taglio e composizione particolare. Complimenti sinceri. Ciao gigicacco
