Although this is a good capture of the fly Pam,I think what is more interesting here is the flower.It is a New Zealand native,known as the New Zealand Iris,Libertia ixioides.Not really a true Iris,they grow from rhizomes which can be divided.They make a great groundcover or rockery plant
Pam, Nice presentation. I like your center frame here as it shows the fly feeding on the stamen.. Good job!

You managed to balance the expoosure very well on the black and white - this is not an easy shot, but you did it well. The sharpness and DOF is good as well.

great series. The flower is a little hot but the fly is perfect, which is most important. :) The detail on the fly is great. Nice job.
