| I visit in 2005 NZ, and of course I visit the Muriwai Gannetcolony. On a rock nearby the great colony are a few gannets. I think - as human - that they have the best place in the whole colony. See my another photo of that colony and compare. Handheld made |

Hi Bob.
Composition showing the colony and environment is great. Nice with a couple birds flying around.
Detail, colour and exposure, spot on.
Wonderful image

Hello Bob,
Very well captured of the colony with good sharpness, well saturated colour and details from the platform where you stood!
well done, Bob

Hi Bob
Nice picture with a lot of details but rather empty sky: this capture is calling for a vertical compo!
great anyway
Hi Bob,
I do love gannets and would love to visit that colony one day. I do agree with Tom on the empty upper portion in this composition. I think that it tends to lessen the impact of the colony. I tried a different crop in a workshop.

Hoi Bob,
Groeten,
Niek

Hello Bob,
Nice shot of a small Gannet Colony in NZ. I like the BG sea waves and the sight of gannets flying around. The fine lighting brings out the cliff rock structure.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
