Nicely captured. View is natural with good detail, color and detail.
Interesting. Like in New Zealand, mallards are the most common ducks found in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

Hello Janice,
Good photography of a female Mallard duck.
Well composed for example.

Hi Janice,
My husband wondered the other day, why it is that mallards have been so successful. They are so numerous everywhere we go. They are quite lovely too... I think under-appreciated because they are so numerous.
This is a nice sharp well exposed image.

Why those ducks always look like they are smiling? I want to know :)! I didn't know that there were Mallard in your country. They are international ducks :)! This is a nice capture, well composed, detailed and exposed. Thanks,
Claudine

Hello Janice
A beautiful portrait of this lovely lady mallard. She often doesn't get the attention she deserves.
Very good focus and detail, the plumage shows well.
The lighting and colours are natural.
Very good eye detail and catch light. Is it just me or do ducks always look like they are smiling?

Hi Janice!!!
Duck is back :-))))
I miss time of green and blue colours all around. There is snow and winter and we have to wear lots of clothers. Michał hate caps and havy rompers.
Best regards for you and your family and... ducks in NZ :-)
