Hi Pam,
really sorry to here about your dreadful experience, i hope your home is repaired as soon as possible...not a great start to 2008!
But, you have managed to capture a very beautiful sunrise form your new abode. Great use of the tree on the left to help frame the view and add depth with wonderful tones in the clouds and sea...thanks for sharing this!

Hi Pam,
A not so funny note,I hope you could save some items,as I can imagine this loss, something can be exchanged but others not, hope you can return soon to your fixed house, anyway this is a fine capture and I like the light of the small sailingboat,
Regards,
Paul

I don't even want to even try and copy your tough week Pam.
And what a fantastic view you're going to have to put up with for a while. And what lovely neighbours you've got too. It's going to be a competition as to who can take the best sea view now, I think!!
Take care MF, ka kite ano

Sorry to hear bout the fire. It seems that you are blessed though with a place to stay while repairs are made and what a view! You can look at it as an opportunity to photograph a new area for a while. Best of luck with the repairs.

Hi Pam,
Sorry to read this horrible news. But, I am glad that nobody got hurt and that only material things got destroyed, eventhough some of these things will probably be lost forever.
I do agree, you did end up on a wonderful alternative place that will help you have your family a lot.
I love the strong silhoutte of the tree contrasting with the soft BG.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Pam
I am sooooo sorry to hear this :((
I just hope you and all your loved ones are ok in terms of health at least...
I understand you can't explain us how you or this feels, but once the first shock goes away, try to look at this as a fresh start :) (i know it can be difficult, but still)
Until then, i see you have a very nice view from your temporary location. My advice is to try and take as many photos as possible because i'm sure they calm you down every time...plus, it's no point in missing a chance with such a view :)
Anyway, i tried to cheer you up a bit.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Kind regards
Horia

Hi Pam,
My grandmother used to always say that old worn out cliche, "Every cloud has a silver lining". This beautiful image speaks to this, especially with the latest events in your families life. I'm so glad you all came out of this unscathed..
