Picture of two oystercatchers in Kaikoura - New Zealand.

I was aged 20 on my way to Iceland when I first encountered oystercatchers in Scotland. They fascinated me, but I was never able to shoot them despite running after them wherever I could. But they' d always fly away.
A number of years later, while in New Zealand on a nice holiday trip around Kaikoura, we met again. This couple was so busy with their own job - feeding or chatting? -that they did not even notice me.
I took this picture with a Nikon D2X and a 70-200 mm lens, ie. 400 mm.
This image is pretty meaningful to me as it clears up an old frustration!
Your views would also be meaningful.
Cheers.

Great capture of this pair of oystercatchers. I love the color contrast. The composition is good too. Great job and TFS. : )

hi detay
beau cliché,belles couleurs et netteté,cela manque un peu de details.
