Hello, my name is Ruby and I am a New Zealand Falcon. I live at Wingspan which is a centre dedicated to the research, education and rehabilitate injured/orphaned birds of prey, including endangered NZ Falcon. Every day at 2 o'clock I am exercised by free flying. If you are in Rotorua New Zealand, please put aside some time and visit.

My eighth post in the series of the New Zealand Falcon. For information on this incredible endemic predator, please visit any of my earlier posts listed below. I hope you enjoy my images. Thanks for looking.

Super post - great detail and colour portrayed. I like the position of the bird and the clarity in its eyes. Well done, Tim

Wonderful picture Pam! The details are so clear and the lightening is warm and great. Good pose of the bird, well composed and good POV & DOF. I just don't like the gloved hand in the frame but I guess there's isn't much you could do about that, eh? ;)

Regards,
Pieter
