A great capture, John. Too bad the DOF didn't include the beak. The image is quite rotated; water should always be flat, not tilted. I really like the lighting.

Hi John.
It doesn't look like this guy was too keen on cooperating.
(I'm not too sure where these things are really from,but I've an idea they may be natives of Australia)

I think the pose is fantastic, you captured a really unique moment. I have a feeling, though, that the swan didn't want particularly to be photographed.
