Technicaly this is not one of the better shots I have taken,. but the humour factor was high. This poor old Drake was in real trouble. The Black-Billed Gulls wanted his bread and there was no stopping them. The Drake swam away as fast as those little legs and webbed feet could paddle, but those Gulls kept on following. Eventually the Drake dived under the water and won the battle! I sat on the foreshore and couldn't help laughing. What a great sight! Thanks for looking.

You captured the moment nicely.

I am sure the gulls would stop at nothing to get what they want, they can be rather persistant.

The gulls look pretty cool in the shot, you can see the comotion.

HI Pam,
Thanks for the note.
The photo is much more amusing with the note.
The drake looks pretty pleased with himself.
Nice shot, I love all the blurs to show what a commotion these seagulls were stirring up.
Great work

Hahaha... what a great moment you have captured.
The expression on the mallard drake is priceless.
