You capture and edit these curious natural shapes with the meticulousness of an artist craftsperson, Pam.
This one is a sheer work of art.
Did I tell you that certain varieties of the fern at this curly stage are eaten as vegetable or pickled in certain mountain zones in India and Nepal?
Thanks for sharing it.

Hello Pam,
Is it for Janice ;-) It is pleasant to admire this natural shape. Because of the great sharpness and DOF the fern stands out from the blurred background. Exposure and warm colors are super. And as always the smart frame around matches well.
Congratulations and TFS.

Bonita imagen Pam con bellos detalles a partir de una excelente nitidez, buena iluminación y apropiados DOF y punto de vista.
Me agrada el encuadre elegido y el desenfoque logrado sobre el fondo.
Un gran saludo... Ricardo
Nice image Pam with beautiful details starting from an excellent sharpness, good illumination and appropriate DOF and point of view.
I like the elected framing and the out of focus achieved on the bottom.
My best greetings... Ricardo

Hello Pam
A beautiful close up of this fern plant. Here in Canada we refer to them as "fiddleheads", and some are edible and quite good.Always a sign of the emerging springtime.A very good POV and DOF.The details are razor sharp. The colour saturation is spot on.A beautiful composition ,with a lovely frame.TFS

Hello Pam
Square composition shows off the Koru to its best advantage. Absolutely spectacular detail and well set off from background. Color tones in subject and BG are highly complementary. Well done. Regards.

Hi Pam,
They look like little worms curling up to get some sleep.
Another beautiful close up fern photo with excellent details and colors. Love the abstract feel to the composition.

Hello Pam!
Maybe not cute bird, but also superb shot. I love symmetry and geometry of young Koru. Details are great, every single hair is well visible. Composition and blurred BG are also very good. Piece of art.
