Caught this colourful crab when I gone through the rocky part at the coast at Whangapoua, Coromandel.
From the anxious eyes, may be he was trying to tell me to back-off from him!
just sharing with you and hope you enjoy it.

Hi Ho.
They do squeeze into some of the tightest places between rocks, well seen.
You have captured some great colours on him there with your fill flash. Love the comoposition of the rocks on the diagonal with him squeezed in between. Pin sharp and great detail.
Wonderful image

Hello Tony,
Looks curious and a bit upset. Reminds me of one of the characters in Spongebob Squarepants. Flash exposure was effective here keeping good color and detail, even though the foreground is inevitably overexposed-nothing too detracting. Is that a jellyfish next to the crab? Regards,
Hakan

Hello Tony,
It is really nice to find here on TN pictures of interesting creatures. And crabs are one of these group. Not very often presented but still interesting and beauty :) And here I found a very colourful species in the shelter. Good use of flash, DOF and details :)
Have a nice evening and TFS,
Radomir

Hi Tony, excellent capture on your part. Love the way that rock provides the framing for this shot. The colour and detail on that crab are excellent.
