Hi,
There are no categories for lakes, so I guess mountain is as good as any, with Bald Knott, very prominent in the early morning sun.
As you can see, I took this shot very early in the morning, whilst on the lions tour to New Zealand in the summer.
I arrived at Lake Waikaremoana the previous night in a rain storm, in the dark and after driving for what seemed like a lifetime along state highway 38, which is no more than a dirt-track. I arrived at the campsite in the dark, very disorientated, hadn't got a clue what I had driven into, because of darkness, and woke up before dawn, to be greeted by what must be one of THE most beautiful places in the world. It blew my mind away.

I climbed Bald Knott later in the day, when the sun was high, and the weather was superb. Clear blue sky reflecting of a crystal clear Lake Waikaremoana. Unspoiled natural beauty, rarely visited by native kiwis, let alone travelling Lions! (The Hidden Lake). What a spot!.

Lovely morning lighting here! The rising sun really makes that hill stand out... Still some morning fog to be observed, all over great colours and details... Well captured!

I like this composition. All the details: calm water, pink morning sky, golden farest mountain and black nearest one, also small silhouettes of swans... All is perfect.
