Light seems to be harsh at time picture was taken, but you managed it very well.

Hi Janice, this is a lovely landscape scene, I wish I was there. A great POV and perspective on the vastness of the scene. You have caught good light and colours, all is crisp and clear. A fine composition. I am hoping to visit New Zealand later this year.

Hi Janice,
Lovely capture of Waikaremoana.
I definitely prefer it in colour.
I love the Ureweras although I've only been there once.
I tramped up to Lake waikareiti (across the road) and over Mt Manuoha (the highest point in Te Urewera)
You might remember my photo of the Goblin Forest taken up there.
It was the most amazing forest I've ever seen.

Beautiful. Definitely better in color - appears too flat in B/W.

Fine landscape shot that looks like a wonderful place to visit.
This is an excellent composition with well placed wedge shapes locking into each other on the horizontal plane: wedge shaped cloudes, wedges of water, and wedges of land and cliffs together making up a fine pattern.

Good contrast, there's not much color inherent to the scene, so maybe the B&W is an option..
The wide frame composition perfect for this one..
I like those low clouds hugging the sheer cliffs in the distance as well :)
The B&W workshop? Well, it makes it look like an old photo anyway ;}

Hi Janice, great landscape with low laying cloud which gives nice atmosphere. I am seriously thinking of planning a 6 week trip to Australia and New Zealand next March/April. Very nice work.
