Hi Richard.
You have got a great shot. Out here rural in the paddocks I have not seen them perch yet on the fence or trees. They fly straight into the grasses. Your composition gives me hope of getting a photo up on a perch.
Great colour and detail, great image.
Just checking, has there been a name change?
I have, Emberiza citrinella. You have, Mohoya ochrocephala.

Hi Richard,
This is a good shot with a good composition.
And I very nice bird to look at. Sometimes you have to be very lucky to capture a bird and you were.
There is some noise in the photo (bg) but that is not so bad.

Hi Richard,
What a beautiful capture!
I like the good pose you managed to catch of this winter visitor.
The vivid yellow tone creates a great contrast with the background.
Excellent pose, colour saturation and composition.
The only nit would be the slightly noise seen at the background, but you can get rid of it with a filter easily.
Good work and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM
