This mother Starling was being a good mother and feeding her young.

Starlings sometimes group together in such numbers that they become a nuisance, they destroy insects but at the same time drive away smaller desirable birds. The starling has a iridescent black plumage with a long bill which is yellow in spring and summer. They can mimic other birds songs and sounds.

Good shot of the Starling Sue. So she has a nest in the conifer - don't let my cat know, will you. These birds also chase cats away too. Good shot... TFS

Hi Sue, interesting view and a nice capture with all those worms in the beak. They must be very hungry chicks!

Good shot here, it's different to what we normally see. Some fill-flash would have been useful to throw some light on the bird but it's a good shot regardless.
