The 'flowers' on a young wild pinus radiata tree.
I blew on it a little to make the pollen come out I had to clean the lens after.
It the moment there is so much pollen in the air from theses and other trees, with the warmer weather of spring, that when it rains the water is yellow.
Not a good time of year to be out side enjoying the sun if you are allergic to pollen :(
Hand held.
Over cast weather
I did nothing to the photo other than frame and resize. |

What a good idea Sue to make the pollen apparent by blowing on it! Hope you didn't have to much problems to clean your lens after!
Well done and TFS
Hi Sue,
welcome back, it's nice to see a new shot from you. It's a wonderful arrangement and I like it. So soft in the back and so sharp at the highlight. Thanks, very well done
