I was quite surprised to see these growing as we had a frost for the previous 2 mornings and thought it would be too cold to find such a treasure under a tree.

I have cropped and framed the image using Photo shop

Hi Sue,
Nicely seen.
I like your POV and compo.
It looks nice and contrasting with the very dark parts under the muchrooms.
THx.

Hi Sue, this is beautiful. I do think its a bit soft, maybe needed more DOF? The colours and composition are wonderful and the light and exposure beautiful. Lovely image, TFS :)

Beautiful photo Sue. Very good POV. Well done.

I love this little mushroom family, I think you did a lovely job, photographing mushrooms isn't easy. Nicely composed.

A good and interesting POV but I fell more DOF would help to improve the shoot

very nice shot, thanks for sharing ;-)

Hi Sue. I guess you are correct with the ident.
You have a wondeful cam to make this type of shots, in fact one of the best, the turnable body makes it perfect for ground level shots, and it is very clear with great DOF, shapness and resolution.
Allow me one recomendation: when shooting fungui, the closest one must be on focus or totally OOF. Here you have in the foreground some disturbing grasses and some OOF fungus, without them your photo would be much better for my modest opinion. Another possibility is as Hollie said to increase the DOF by a higher F value, you will need a tripod or to lay the cam on the ground for that.
Did you take this one handheld? good work at 1/25
Thanks for sharing.

Bonjour Sue, belle composition de coprins en famille !! Jolies couleurs , bravo Didier.

Your title is funny and made me smile. I like very much this domestic portrait (LOL), the image misses however depth of field but I know that you will arrive in your next photos of these magnificent mushrooms there. TFS.

Votre titre est amusant et m'a fait sourire. J'aime beaucoup ce portrait familial (LOL), l'image manque cependant de profondeur de champ mais je sais que vous y arriverez dans vos prochaines photos de ces magnifiques champignons. Merci du partage!
