Good one Sue, you're getting well into these fungi. And I bet you are learning heaps. Very interesting orange pore fungi, good lighting shining through the body. And they look a lot bigger than they are, so your POV is great. Very well done. Bravo!

Hey Sue,

Great colour. You really did have a good walk. Who knew that Fungi could be so interesting. Hope you didn't get fungi in your lens :)

Cheers
Zakiwi

I remember this fungus from Steve's pictures. It is simply amazing - I love backlight and well seen structures of surface. Colours and POV are very good also!

Hi Sue!
Personal assessment of the photo: great.
Strong visual impact.
Aptness of the photo for the site: excellent.
Personal assessment of the note: complete.
TFS.

The backlight adds a nice effect. Well composed but it could use a bit of fill flash. Well done.

The underside is very beautiful, I love the way you've composed this shot with the fungi to the left and the branch to the right, very artistic presentation, well done! I love the orange color.

Hi Sue!

Hello Sue, very nice view of this fungi. The light filtering through lends a pleasing aspect to this shot. I think it could be a little sharper but for a 1 s exposure! Well done.

Brilliant composition, Sue. Very well balanced exposure showing a large range of light. What's amazing here is the fact that, according to the backlight, cavities are brighter than their edges on the top and show the reverse situation at the bottom. Makes an attractive image. It was a good inspiration to shoot this from the ground.

Well done on the lighting in this scene Sue! The way the light shines through and makes these Fungi almost transparent is a site to behold!
