[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this beautiful fern frond while looking for NZ native Snails. I loved the colours. It was a very new frond that had uncurled but hadn't yet taken its more adult colourings of green.

I don't know the type of fern but it's not a ladder fern. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.

The colours are natural I have not changed any settings. I used a tripod as there was not much light. I had to try several times to get the shot as there was a slight breese and the leaf was moving.

I used Photoshop to resize and frame the photo.

Hi Sue, I don't know this fern, but I love the colours and patterns on the frond. It is a little soft, but it makes it look more gentle I think. The water splash looks good running down the frond leaf. And I like your diagonal compo. Well done!
