[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Digitalis Pupurea or as we call them in NZ Fox Gloves. They can be very poisoness.

The Foxglove was once used widely in folk-medicine despite it’s high toxicity. In the eighteenth Century the botanist and physician William Withering discovered the use of the foxgloves ingredients digitoxin and digoxin which are still widely used today as heart stimulants.

Foxgloves are the pharmaceutical source of the heart drug, digitalis, which is poisonous in overdose. The plants are also helpful in preserving other species of cut flowers with which they may be arranged in a vase, or in stimulating the growth & endurance of garden root vegetables, especially potatoes, with which they may be planted.

Arty and experimental POV Sue, but I like it very much! Looks little like landscape from another planet but it's still beautifull. Good work!

Gostei, principalmente das cores!
Gosto também do ângulo "apertado", tanto em flores como em retratos (rosto).
Nitidez muito boa.

Beautiful composition, Sue. The exposure covers the whole range of luminosity with harmony. Colors are very delicate and sweet. The POV, enabling to show inside flowers gives depth to this image on the entire framing. A pleasure for the eye!

A brilliant macro shot! I personally like Foxgloves and only recently discovered that they were highly poisenous. The angle from where you photographed is unique and results in a superb composition. I also like the well designed frame which enhances the main subject and is well chosen.
