[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While driving to work in fog I noticed how many spiders webs could be seen on the fences. Stopped and jumped out to capture one.

The sun was so bright and low that it was hard not to get to much light on the lens but I quite liked the effect here. It has light flares and rays but I liked the effect so I thought it was worth sharing. Nature is never perfect but sometimes it doesn't have to be.

Turnips are growing in the background of this shot.

No PP other than resize and frame for TN.

spider webs are so common, capturing one this well is not.

Hello Sue!
Fantastic light and just great POV!
This photo deserve two smileys :-)

Capturing spiders webs are a challenge you have done really well add the light effects and it absolutely fantastic well done

This photo brings back memorys.. like frezzing my butt off waiting for the school bus :)

I cant decide if the lens flare helps or hinders this shot but then there is not much you could do about it.

I wounder if a larger f stop would have gotten more of the background out of focus.

Hey Sue ---

Great shot. I must say that I saw this kind of thing the other day and by the time I ran in and got my camera setup, the sun was gone --- thats Auckland for you. I really like your composision, and think that Clive has a good suggestion of trying to blurr the background next time with a larger apperture or getter closer to it. I think that this is a really great shot --- well done

Hi Sue, I totally agree with Bob, is common but not easy to captured, here you have done an excellent job. Great POV, lighting and details. Excellent work Sue, thanks for sharing.

Hi Sue, I have no time to write a decent comment. I give to you the well deserved smily.

Day thought:

Thank you for sharing pictures and notes and for the enjoyment which they give to me.

I have tried myself to get a similar shot, but not had this success. The dew helps to emphasize the webs. I like the flare, it's not too distracting.
Well done.

Spiderman went to NZ for a vacation? ;)

I love this pic but the left half seems empty. Maybe a human or animal subject would add more weight to the already good photo.
Cheers!
