Near Cape Brett in the Bay of Islands you can find The Hole in the Rock. A very nice place to be there. You can swim with dolphins and also -- if you are lucky - see whales and theire footprints. I'm such a lucky guy I have see one, and a lot of dolphins. And when you have chosen the right boat (company) you sail trough the hole. Very, very spectacular. I have chosen this photograph because of its beautiful composition and colorsettings. i hope you like it.

Hi Bob,
Lovely shot of the 'Hole In The Rock'
I know this spot well. I used to sail out here on my friends yacht and went diving in this area.
You're right ... it's very beautiful.
Luckily there are places just as nice near here,at Punakaiki,as you know.

Hoi Bob,
Zeker een plaatje om van te genieten. Deze gangen vind ik altijd erg bijzonder om te zien. Ik heb zelf het geluk gehad om door een heen te lopen in Washington state. de algehele blauwe kluer in deze foto is prachtig. Het tintje groen van de struiken breekt dit net weer mooi. Je boot POV is perfect.

Hey Bob - I've got the same pic, same view, same position - as I bet many 1,000's of people have. I've done this trip twice now, and really enjoyed it. We saw dolphins last time.
Looking at your pic - I think your colours are better than mine - they were both dull days that I went out.

We have both been taking rocks with holes in. This looks a lovely place and sounds like it too from your note. Nice sharp colours and lovely blue tones
