We have a lake in Cambridge called Lake Te Kou Utu. It is a great place to walk and run, and many people use it as such. It has a long history, there was once a spring there that was reputed for its healing properties. Unfortunately, we are now fighting polution in this lake.
It is autumn here, and fungi are everywhere. This is one of the Fungi I found on my walk. |

Very nice Merran, I like the low perspective and your DOF is perfect. You can identify your fungi at http://www.hiddenforest.co.nz/fungi/ if you are interested.
Well done

Hi Meran, your fungi looks very good, nice and sharp, and I like your POV. Well done.
It is good to see you here, but it is expected that you write critiques and also some notes when you post a photo. You will get noticed more if you do so. And it is a good way to learn more about photography and nature at the same time. Janice
Well captured. The low POV is ideal for this fungi and you've achieved perfect DOF and exposure. Well composed, I like the warm tones.

Great shot Merran.
Good POV, and composition.
