A very nice portrait on this Grey Teal. The light was very nice here. Beautiful subtle colors, and the detail is very sharp. The green backround really makes a nice contrast for the duck to stand out well.

Fantastic details on this teal duck, Janice.
Though rather monochrome, I find the patterns created by the white fringes of the feathers are beautiful. Excellent focus and light. TFS. : )

Hi Janice, nice portrait this grey teal. Good low POV and excellent detail, colour and exposure. I miss taking pictures of ducks and swans but as you probably know that bird flu has reached the UK now, so better safe than sorry I think. TFS.

I'm standing in the back of the queue again, but rather late than never.
This is a great shot of a lovely teal. The details are stunning and the BG really lends itself well to enhance the bird. Lovely composition with the bird emerging out of the corner and great colours. The exposure was also very well managed.

Wow great detail Janice a lovely shot. I feel as though I could reach out and pat it. Nice low POV as well so much better being at the same level as the subject, and the image is so clear if you zoomed in you may even see your reflection in the ducks eye.

Where abouts in Ngatea did you take the shot, such a shame that there is no map function in TN like with TE.

Nice portrait of this teal, in Argentina there are several species (you can see some in my gallery), only differs in plumage colours, a bit more marroon and in the bill color: yellow.
