Hallo Paul
This is just another beautiful landscape photo that popped up on my screen. This striking waterfall is a stunning scenery, and I am in no doubt you enjoyed photographing it, as much as I have looking at it. I am sure you could smell the freshness and the spray of the falling water, and I can imagine the awesome feeling you had being so close to such view. I have many times admired scenes like this one, paging through books. The lovely green ferns and other shrubs and trees make it idyllic scenery. Unfortunately for us to see a waterfall, we have to drive quite far inland. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend.

Ahh...i see you have the nice new D300...very nice! :)
And i also see you've already put it to good use :)
This is indeed a spectacular place, one that you photographed superbly!
The cloudy sky really helped you saturate the colors very well here and also gave you the enough amount of light to work with for that nice look of the waterfall.
Your polarizer worked great, too and cut most of the foliage glare (perhaps except the one on the left and lower left...but this is just a minor element anyway) and the result is a fantastic landscape!

The polarizer really did very well its job with the greens, they're very impressive.
So good the 1/6 to get the flow of the waterflow.
Your POV is just great.

This is an interesting high point of view for this falls. The composition is great with the bright falls off center and the nice shape of the pool. I think your slow shutter speed effect is nice... not too slow so it still looks like water. The greens on my monitor feel a little "off".. almost fluorescent.
