Looks like the swan is sitting atop a mirror, Zhewen.
Your experimental PP work in altering the background to absolute dark has proved to be wonderful for this image.
I love the composition.

Very nice capture Zhewen. The exposure is excellent for this tricky scene and the reflection is lovely. I do think that a vertical crop would add impact and remove some of the empty dark area. I hope it's ok, I have posted a quick WS to show what I mean.

Lovely shot! The dark BG and white swan work great together. I agree with Mark about the crop. The portrait framing works much better.
