| River otters are aquatic mammals living along rivers as the name implies, they are also found streams and lakes.They prefer waters dordered with woodlands and marshes.They use their feet and strong tails to steer and are underwater acrobats. They can stay sbmerged for up to four minutes after which they must surface to breathe. They hunt under water skillfully chasing fish being their main diet. |

Are I take it this is photographed in a zoo as I am sure we have on otters in NZ. Its unfortunate the nose is out of focus due to I think subject movement
