[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This young Tui has visited my garden today feeding on brown sugar and water. He visited many times, and wasn't the slightest bit concerned when I was on my back lawn tidying the garden. His song was not as sweet as the older Tui. He had a most dreadful screech and very little beautiful song that we usually associate with the Tui. Every time he was heading to the feeder, he announced his visit by sitting in the tree above the feeder and letting out a loud screech.

Very nice portrait of Tui. Perfectly exposured with different shades of colours very well visible on its plumage. Good eye contact and pose, too.

Hello Pam,
The colours in the feathers of this Tui are marvelous. Evenso the sharpness. Is that a piece of plastic in front of the bird?
The composition, eye-contact and POV are excellent.

Are the juveniles always much more brown than adults? I should know really, but I don't.
