Hallo Janice
What a beautiful and also interesting image as well. I hope you captured them far away from your house, because although they are lovely to look at, I am sure there are plenty and one does not know where they are about to creep into next, they look all lively and up and about as it is. The adult surely has a big body with lovely textures and even the fine hairs around the body is visible. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards
Anna

I rarely use a tripod..by the time I get it set up the "focal" is gone or I have to sit on a chair and wait for destiny and that seems never to come:-0) patience I have little in the city..A fine image...good seeing your quality sharp work Janice!

if only the shadow was bigger, providing a dark BG on a more important area, it would be a killer
but it's also quite interesting like this
however, i appreciate the subject, not so much seen, this sort of bag of baby spiders !

Janice, Nice interesting shot and a good focus and composition. Thanks for sharing. Ganesh
Very good macro capture. I recently purchased a 100mm macro lens and hope to capture imagery as nice as this. Way to go.
Janice,
I think it is so interesting when we find something in the picture we didn't see when we took it.
I like the activity of this picture. It is not the sharpest picture you have posted, but I don't think that is the point of this kind of picture. A tripod might have helped, but maybe the shot would have gotten away. It is a great environmental photo.
And we think the mother with eight new kids and 6 at home has a hand full. What about this mom? And by the way, where is the dad?
TFS - I love this stuff - Bob
