This is a great post, Steve, I love the green on green and the nice patterns of the geckos' skin against the ones created by the leaves of the fern. Superb and so lively!

This is an excellent shot you took in 2004, Steve.
This camera has always given you good results.
The green lizards are in perfect focus and merge well with the green ferns.
The details on both subjects are sharp and clear.
Must thank you for sharing this lovely image from the past.
Regards,
Ram

That's a pretty d**ed good quality and dynamic image Steve...The colours are so doggone real...and there is a small yet quite perceptible 3D gig to this one as well...a bit different from some others...not lots...but a change for theseasonal I reckon...this puppy tends to be kinetic..it moves!

A wonderful capture Steve!
Even if they are captive specimens they are nicely placed on the fern to give us a good impression of what these native Northland Green Geckos look like and how they vary. Nice one from your archives and I hope you can start with a new camera soon.
Thanks and all the best,
Ivan

Hello Steve!
Great capture of this pair of geckos! Wonderful, natual colours and sharpness. It is interesting that they were photographed not on walls or trees. It is natural place for this species?
Very nice reptiles! I really like them! :>
All the best from Lodz,
Radomir
PS. Maybe some day you will decide to photograph some Polish reptile species? ;>

Hi Steve!
After your disappointment because of your broken camera I'm so glad to see that you keep on taking pictures and that you get these nice little green stars even with a camera that is not your favourite. And this picture really merits all this attention. Green on green, it's very well seen and the Geckoes are well put on stage.
Kind regards
Markus

And you didn't even tell me you posted this one. I love these creatures, they're so different from the othe gecko species. I love the fact they have prehensile tails. Way to go go Steve!
Paul :)
