| This seal was clearly out for the count...but still a little curious about the four camera-waving women standing above. The photo was taken near Kaikoura, on the east coast of South Island. Here, you will find a random array of seal bodies, dozing on the rocks and in this case, the bush. The warning is, don't get between them and the sea, but they didn't seem to be bothered at the time. |

Hi Fiona,
what a lovely shot, the eye contact is great and i love the colour and details of his/her fur.
You've composed it nicely, and the patch of sunlight in the bottom left hand corner is a nice touch too. Good work!
