The world's only alpine parrot, this photo was taken at the Caroline hut en route to Ball Pass on the east side of Aoraki (also known as Mt. Cook), the highest point in New Zealand.

Hello Chris,
Great shot of this Kea in a fine pose and against a nice soft background. Excellent composition and fine natural colours. I don't suppose you could sharpen it any more? Perhaps you shot it from some distance away? But it is still a lovely capture!

The image seams a little soft never the less Agood point of view. Even the colour of the rock adds to the image.
