Ourisia macrocarpa, Arthurs Pass
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
NZ Alpine flowers are nearly all white. Even those plants which are found in other parts of the world with coloured flowers, in the New Zealand mountain areas have white flowers.
This was on Dobson Nature Trail in Arthurs Pass NP. I believe it is Ourisia macrocarpa?
Common Name: Snowy Mountain Foxglove, Mountain Ourisia
The genus Ourisia (Scrophulariaceae, Plantaginaceae)
consists of about 30 species, about half found in the mountains of New Zealand, one from Tasmania, and the remainder in the Andes of South America (Albach, 2005). Distributed in alpine to subalpine habitats. |

Bonjour ML,
Assez bonne valorisation des sujets dans une lumière diffidile à maitriser.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
