[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi,
I took this photo at a DOC campsite at St Arnuad which is near Blenhiem on the south island of New Zealand. A beautiful place. This cheeky robin even went as far as investigating the inside of my camper van, whilst I was outside taking shots of his local freinds. My only worry with the photo is the blurring of the wings, but I feel this provides the shot with movement, catching the robin in the process of taking off. Hope you like the shot as much as I do. This is the first of a number of photos I will post from this location. Regards
John.

Hi John, kia ora. I have heard about you from Steve (Ld Potty). I hope you enjoyed your time in the South Island with him. Sorry for you that the best team has won the first 2 tests so far. And the 3rd as well this Sat.
Your robin looks great, and the movt of the wings emphasisi how far these little birds can move their wings. It's a great shot, thank you.

Great shot you have really caught the action here. It is hard to catch some of our NZ birds. I like the bluring of the wings, really gives the photo action.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in NZ.
Good luck in the next test. May the lions Roar! Trouble is Kiwis have sharp beaks ;)

Hi John, I love it, it looks as though he is practicing. It's a little OE on the breast but I like the movement of the wings, composition and BG very much. It's lovely :)

Beautiful and interesting composition for this nice bird ! Good pose with moving wings ! Thanks for sharing John.

Hello John

How many of this type of photo has been taken.... Just as you are ready to click the shutter they decide it is time to move on! It is a great action shot. Those wings beat jolly fast. You are fortunate to capture a Robin.... I am still trying to find one. Nice work. Thanks.
