[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo of Henry, the famous ancient tuatara in the Southland Museum in Invercargill. He is behind glass in his own separate enclosure. I know the background is too busy, any hints on easy ways to blur it out are appreciated (I have only just started trying to use digital photo software and have only Serif PhotoPlus 6). Thanks!

Notes on Henry: Apparently he fights with the others and has shown no interest in mating, so he gets to live alone. The sign says he is 540 mm long and weighs 1.2 kilos, possibly the heaviest tuatara in the world. He was brought to the museum in 1971 from Stephens Island and was likely born at the end of the 19th century. The Southland Museum has a “tuatarium” and successful breeding program. Henry looked a bit greener than I remember before, perhaps he is starting to grow a bit of moss on his back.
