[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another shot of the waterfall I posted a few weeks ago when it was still covered in snow.
This mountain stream flows down into the Bealey Valley from Mount Rolleston, high in the Arthurs Pass National Park.
Most of the vegetation at this level comprises of Mountain Beech trees interspersed with Griselineas, various species of Pseudopanax,Coprosma, and Dracophyllum.
Mosses, liverworts and ferns are quite abundant throughout the forest here.
A few hundred metres past this point the forest gives way to much lower sub-alpine vegetation.

Hope you like it.
Cheers,Steve

Hi Steve!

I didn't know that you've got streams in NZ, this one looks like alchemical symbol to me ;-)))

Hi Steve,
Wonderful shot of this flowing stream surrounded by huge boulders. The 'mini fall' looks majestic and I like the natural setting here. Sharp details and superb soft lighting. Excellent POV and very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Being a man from the mountains, I love mountain streams, Steve.
This is a lovely capture of a stream making a short cascade between large boulders. I am with you in not taking long exposure shot to make the flowing water look artificial.
Well composed shot with lovely tones.
Regards.
