| Coal creek falls just after the rain stopped. In this image I wanted to show the power and movement of the water along with the beauty of the native bush |

Hi Russell,
Although this shot looks nice in an arty way, I think the time exposure detracts from the 'natural' feel.
I guess I'm biased towards depicting nature exactly as it is, so long exposures of flowing water have never really appealed to me personally.
Its interesting to see this from a new perspective, further downstream, and with more water than I've seen before.
The spray from the falls has definitely created quite a haze, which obscures the green of the forest somewhat, but that can't be helped.
Its a nice enough image, but I do feel that a name on the photo always distracts.
Hi Russel,
A very beautiful photo of this wonderful falls. Great work on the composition, where the first rock acts as good step in stone. The white wash of the river is an excellent leadin and takes me op de river to the falls. I think that the photo lost some of it sharpness.

Hi Russell another fine image you have here, the slower shutter speed certainly adds to the composition and helps balance the image out.
Well, Russell, this has got to be the best photo I've ever seen of Coal Creek Falls. I love the POV and the effect of movement shown in the water. Awesome!
Cheers
Elizabeth
